One thing was happening us since the season started is related with Team Managers commitment. It is normal people going here and there, traveling, life issues... -I'm the first example- so it is normal and login at certain point the team management goes to the backside of our life. But it is also true that is not fair for our drivers and it is a tricky point we should fix for next season.
Problem: - Cause: Poor Team Manager commitment and poor communication with his drivers - We have coding errors while changing Team Manager face (example... giving privileges to any driver to be Team Manager and returning privileges to the previous manager when he is back). Because that, is more easy having the option to add secondary managers instead switching positions continuously.
Current solutions were just to switch to another manager -usually one of the drivers involved in the team- when manager is not much active and then return privileges to the previous when he is back to the business, but I think this is a complex solution -easy apparently- but complex for code giving us some errors with contracts along the current season.
My proposal is to increase Team staff -if required, not mandatory- with some secundary management duties instead to switch Manager face all time. With this system we don't need to change continuously Manager info into the database, just add people as secondary manager with privileges to work with the team.
Interesting for: - We avoid coding errors by changing managers info all time - We increase team management experience by delegating in others - Implementing this system with modules is an open door for the future in order to increase more and more team staff and perfect for 2010 system - This solution doesn't mean we could change Team Manager if he is really missing events, but in this case we have a secondary manager to jump to the job - Ensure drivers to have someone committed with the team -they do not feel alone- - Ensure team to have necessary stuff to avoid Administration dropping the team from the grid
Weak points: - We have not much people involved to have big teams staff so in fact -currently- secondary manager could be done by any of the team's drivers

That would make sense. When I was absent, I talked to Phillie about managing the team. While he hadn't wanted to be a manager, he agreed to take on the duties on a temporary basis. Unfortunately, he got frustrated, but he handled things well and offered the position to someone else when he decided to drop out (in this case, Ryan).
I hadn't spoken to Ryan about managing the team, though I had endeavoured to keep both my drivers in the loop while I was still available. They knew what I'd been working on in terms of the development of the car - in fact, I specifically asked their advice.
What I hadn't considered though, was how it might affect things in terms of implementation of the site itself.
So anything that makes the job easier and/or better, gets my support.
This organisation isn't like 'real life' F1. Most of the people involved in F1 are full-timers. None of us are really full-timers, so that means we can't simply emulate the structures of the FIA exactly.
For that reason we have been, and need to be, more flexible in terms of driver contracts and with team management.
